COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Scott Hartnell had his eighth career three-goal game and the Columbus Blue Jackets rebounded from a two-goal deficit to beat the Anaheim Ducks, 5-3, on Tuesday night.
It was the Blue Jackets’ fourth win in a row.
Ryan Johansen had a goal and an assist, and Nick Foligno also scored for the Blue Jackets. Sergei Bobrovsky made 36 saves, stopping the final 18 shots after the Ducks took a 3-2 lead.
Ryan Kesler, Andrew Cogliano and Matt Beleskey scored for the Ducks, who have lost the first two games of a five-game road swing. John Gibson had 20 saves.
It was the first hat trick by a Blue Jackets player since Cam Atkinson had three goals at Colorado on April 5, 2012. It had been three years and one day since the last Columbus player, R.J. Umberger, did it at home against Carolina.
